The New Deal.

This wheelset is not the most blingtastic thing out there, nor is it intended to be! You can get lighter if you're willing to spend a lot more money, you can get burlier if that's what you need, and you can incorporate colors (and lots of 'em!) if you so choose.

But this wheelset does manage to hit the 'sweet spot' for most folks because they do so many things so well, and at such a nice price. They are reasonably light, they are *super* easy to run tubeless, and the butted spokes give them a compliant, predictable, downright snappy ride. The added bonus is that the 350 hubs use DT's legendary star-ratchet drive system, but in a far, far less expensive package relative to the 240, 340, 440, or 540 hubs.

WTB Laser TCS ( "Tubeless Compatible System" ) rims laced to DT Swiss 350 disc hubs.

Black hubs and rims, black DT Competition butted spokes, and black DT Prolock alloy nipples. Both hubs come set as QR standard.

Need 15 or 20mm up front? Sure--just specify and I'm happy to accommodate.

The hubs are not convertible for different axle configurations. In other words, if you want QR, you get QR, but it can't be 20mm. Want 20mm? Sure thing, but it'll always be 20mm, not possible to convert it to 15mm, etc... That kind of convenience costs extra, and that's not what this wheelset is about. Sweet spot, remember?

Yellow tape and valves pre-installed for 'easy button' tubeless setup.

This wheelset includes tires--Bontrager Tubeless Ready (TLR) tires to be exact.
